quick RULE QUESTION guys. When Selby hit the red over the hole, went into the reds and fluked position on the black. What if he had gone into the pack and white stuck right in the pack (with reds all around the white), i mean so he couldn't possibly hit any color. Would it be loss of frame ?

Don't exactly remember that shot. If he was completely surrounded by reds and he needed to hit a color, he would need to perform some sort of trick shot.

I'd be interested to know this too? I wonder if the white has ever landed tight in the pack surrounded by reds after potting a red? I've certainly never seen it.

I really don't think Selby is playing that good! Robertson's unlucky frame and some very loose safeties have gifted frames!

Why would it be loss of frame? He would just have to make an attempt to hit a colour, to the referee's satisfaction.

It would probably result in him losing the frame as he'd be leaving Robertson with an open table and reds spread everywhere, so if that's what you mean, then yes, he probably would have lost the frame.
