Come to think of it Selby is like a younger version of Ebdon which is why I don't particularly like him. Plus I'm not convinced of his sportsmanship.

What is wrong with the way King played?

Ebdon I totally agree with........ so negative AND slow it was ridiculous. Thankfully we don't see him on TV much these days.

ROS has since said he was desperate to beat selby 10-1 in this years masters final, and was very disappointed to give up 4 frames
He now not only wants to beat him, he wants to smash him to pieces!
You always hear ROS say "player x plays the right way, how the game should be played"
Wonder who he would list as the players who DONT play the right way?

I think Ebdon would be top of that list.

Each of this trio are very scared of ronnie, not just scared.

One of the trio wont get more than 6 frames against ronnie in a best of 35 match and be embarrassed at how far behind them they are (just like selby was in masters final, i think he was close to crying like ding, now that would of been brilliant)

Murphy played like a child, he made school boy errors, looked out of his depth, it looked quite funny at times the amount of drastically stupendous mistakes he made, if he was playing anyone else he would of looked more like a professional snooker player, once ronnie made it 2-1, murphy should of just conceded and left the event, would of saved him making excuses about how far behind ronnie he is.

it would be good for ROS to get his 6th by beating selby, his nemesis if you like.
it gives more credibility to it i guess, like his 2001 win against higgins, with all due respect to dott/carter/hawkins

Selby's tactical play that annoyed ROS a few years ago is not working anymore. I truly believe that if they will meet in the final Ronnie will play his best snooker of the tournament. I have a feeling he really really wants to beat Selby every time they play each other.

absolutely agree with this, that's why selby was so attacking in this years masters final, he knows his tactical play don't work no more on ROS.
You can see ROS wants to beat him so bad, he will have his full attention if they meet in the final!

I'm just watching the recording of Ronnie vs Murphy match. It's pretty embarrassing stuff from Murphy. I like Murphy and it's too painful to watch.

Just finished reading Ronnie's new book last night, Running...He calls Selby The Torturer Ebdon is Psycho Some very funny stuff. Bottom line, he doesn't have too much respect for Selby's style, he says he does so many things wrong, the way he strikes the ball, the posture. He believes Selby knows this as well and that he's not happy either about how he plays, that he changed his cue action so many times over the years...

However, Selby can beat him, and he knows it, and he is going to have to adjust his game to play Stickability Selby (another nickname given to him by John Parrot )
