No, prior to working with him, he would have let it affect his next shot, i.e. recklessness. Not so anymore. For all you know, Peters might have told him to express his disappointment, then to focus on something in the arena (as Ronnie has himself mentioned) to get it out of his system for the next shot.

This is the only match I've seen him act like this cueman, in the Perry match he was getting unlucky nudges and splits but never once moaned about it, just played the safety.

in this game he was desperate to have an evening off so was focused on that from what I could see

Only one word to sum it all up...pathetic! But I won't have to tell Shaun this...he'll know himself. He will be incredibly dissapointed..it will be interesting to hear his comments after the match. Still can't believe how bad his performance was today (and yesterday).

    Very dissapointing morning session...blah

Need my daily-snooker fix...hopefully the afternoon sessions will prove incredible!

This year Ronnier will win the tournament easily, simply because the other blokes too scared of him

Ronnie still has a pot success of 93%, the same for the whole tournament so its not as though he is playing as bad as everyone is making out. Obviously he has set the bar very high but when you see him in this mood its easy to think he is not playing well and struggling.

He just acts like a petulant child who doesn't get his own way when bad things happen on the table. If he gets a bad positional shot or the pack doesn't split right or he gets a cannon which goes wrong, he seems to be quick to bemoan anything like this. That doesn't bode well for the rest of the event for me as he needs to stop expecting perfection all the time.

He has said in many interviews since working with Peters that he has sorted the mental side of his game and this sort of thing doesn't bother him yet this is a repeat of his actions prior to working with him in 2011.

Well that was quite the underwhelming match. Really expected more
Gotta hope that Robbo wins 5-3 this afternoon and we have a match tonight!

Has anyone ever won with a session to spare while playing so badly? Can't think of one off the top of my head.

I thought he was getting a bit upset when he threw his arm at that hit and hope snooker, but why would he when hes so far in front? When he gets a new tip and a better standard of opponent we will see a better Ronnie i think.

But these tips are supposed to be just the way Ronnie wants them. At £95 for a box of 50 I think someone has been ripped off!!!

Trump/Robertson is essentially going to be the only match on for the rest of the day.
