As far as today is concerned...hoping for a very strong session from both Murphy and Robbo this afternoon as otherwise tonight's sessions will be pretty much moot. Come on guys...give us a match!
That's if there is a 3rd session tonight, I wouldn't completely discount ROS trouncing Murphy now.
Yeah, it's the third year in a row really where a couple of players don't look like they have any chance at the quarter-final stage. But we always seem to get one or two one-sided ones even if the top players make it through.
The difference this year though, we could still get four of the top5 seeds for the semi-finals, or for of the top7 if Trump wins today. So it should be a good final weekend.
And that is a good result...many top players still in the tournament. As far as today is concerned...hoping for a very strong session from both Murphy and Robbo this afternoon as otherwise tonight's sessions will be pretty much moot. Come on guys...give us a match!
Is is a shame we are ”treated” with this kind of matches in the last stages of the World Championship.

A good thing is that Ros and Neil matches are no longer in the same session....so we can watch some proper snooker. As for the other 2 qfinals for me it was total disaster. Dale and Mc Manus lost it very early in the second session. Is is a shame we are ”treated” with this kind of matches in the last stages of the World Championship.
after seeing griffiths top class commentary it got me thinking, has there been any other "funny" things that happened during a snooker match? I cant really remeber what happened but i think it was ronnie, where he sort of moved his hip forward towards michaela when she was bent over to replace a ball. Cant find the video, i found this quite funny though.

why do kicks happen to lesser players at crucial points? I doubt Robertson, Trump, Ronnie, or Ding would have got the kick that Dale got at such a crucial stage ... 10-6 he was in it but its over now. To me he twitched but commentators are always moaning kicks every time a player misses a ball
Trump gets a lot of kicks. I find that the players with long swoopy actions get kicks more often.
