Henry was spot on with his comments. Ronnie won't play another session that badly. As Rocket Man says, when it becomes first to 17 he's almost unbeatable.

So that's Ronnie into the semis then. I always feel that one he gets past the early rounds, best of 19 and 25 frames, and into the best of 33 area he becomes almost unbeatable. Especially these days.

As much as the third frame was big for me it was the fourth that was the turning point. Ronnie gave Shaun some easy chances and if Shaun had taken one of them they'd have gone in 3-1 and Shaun would have been satisfied. It was his capitulation in the fourth frame that caused the wheels to come off IMO.

Now Ronnie is taking advantage of Shaun playing **** at the moment. Something Murphy didnt manage to do in the first couple of frames.
Gonna be 2-6 at the end of the session...wouldnt be too surprising at least.
