    d) Ebdon's 12 break. Not even Selby could drag it that long.

I also think Ronnie's 5 minute max is untouchable.

I don't know... Ding Junhui has made five already, around the same number O'Sullivan had when he was that age. And Ding will be playing a lot more snooker in the middle part of his career than O'Sullivan did.

I think the other players who are on the scene now are too far behind (apart from Hendry I guess), so if it's not Ding it will be someone way younger.

    Hi guys,
I see Murphy trying to actually humble himself and not be frustrated if he falls a few frames behind, as I think hes trying to go I'm playing the best player in the world don't expect to win but play as well as I can on the day, this will make his temperment improve. I hope this is the case as I backed him before the tournament :L
On trump really don't like the snooker hes been playing in the tournament been quite flukey and its been in my opinion very ugly snooker, I think hes trying to outdo what he could do a few years back when he played really well.
If im honest the only two people in this tournament that should win it are robertson or ronnie but hopefully shaun does something and wins the quarter

Stephens 7 world titles is a different story though...
You say that but 12 televised maximums, I think the pressure will cause players to bottle it if I'm honest when there being viewed on teli.

And excellent write up once again Odri.

The one match I'm particularly interested in is the Selby v. McManus. I think if McManus gets a good start and just keeps to his game then he could slowly beat Selby. Especially if Mark is not playing his A game.

"The match is in his hands as I see it, if we both play our best then I think he wins - he is better and naturally more gifted than anyone else and he's found a way of getting the best out of himself. I'm being honest by saying he is the best player on the planet, he's a joy to watch, I've just got to try and handle it and give it my absolute best."......Minds games or not, Shaun is telling the naked truth here

Possibly, but then you take Trump's bullish attitude and look at his record against Ronnie, and contrast it with the more passive Murphy, and it is easy to see which approach/mindset has been most successful.

I like Murphy though and was delighted he beat Fu, who incidentally I would have given a stronger chance of beating Ronnie as he can get inside his head (although maybe not anymore given Ronnie's improved mental state).
