Only good thing about Ryan mucking this up and handing Trump the match is I can enjoy the other match...that is, if Fu starts nabbing away at his deficit and we still have a match.

Fu must feel a beaten man now. Could count himself unlucky not to have won both of those two frames, let alone none of them.

Both matches poised at 11 - 7. That's happened a few times this year. Both matches mirroring score lines.

Damn its painful to be Ryan's fan! Should have been so much closer, just keeps messing up the frames he could have easily win!

Marco is really struggling with position at the moment and he finally broke down on 39.
Odd seeing what a machine he can be.

It was important for Fu to start well, but it's almost as if Murphy was destined to win that frame... Fu was nicely in when a possible big bounce left him snookered behind the black. Murphy then missed a long blue, but played such a bad positional shot that he left Fu nothing easy. Fu attempted a double, left the white behind the pink, but the red came back and finished as a sitter for Murphy to the middle. On top of that, Murphy also had a fluke earlier in the frame when he played a suspect safety.
Can he push on from here like Robertson did in his match?

The only problem is that I'm forced to listen to Willie Thorn who is the best player in the world. And I like Parrot as well. Hendry is fantastic btw. He should get *his* own show!

There is no question that Robertson has played the best snooker of the tournament so far. It's just a question whether he has peaked too early. The draw only gets tougher now, probably Trump in the quarters and Selby in the semis...Though you could be right peaking too soon has been the downfall of many in this marathon!
