Only good thing about Ryan mucking this up and handing Trump the match is I can enjoy the other match...that is, if Fu starts nabbing away at his deficit and we still have a match.

Fu must feel a beaten man now. Could count himself unlucky not to have won both of those two frames, let alone none of them.

Fu had the chance to win that frame and mucked up on the blue. Marco must have known that frame was destined for Murphy.

Both matches poised at 11 - 7. That's happened a few times this year. Both matches mirroring score lines.

Damn its painful to be Ryan's fan! Should have been so much closer, just keeps messing up the frames he could have easily win!

Meanwhile Ryan is trying really hard to loose this match quickly...lots of errors from him and giving away the last frame...11-7 down.

The snooker gods are smiling on him big time at the moment.

Marco is really struggling with position at the moment and he finally broke down on 39.
Odd seeing what a machine he can be.

Marco seems to have a very flat tip.

I'm no fan of Rob Walker, but as far as I'm aware he's being making comments about Shaun's weight loss every time he's introduced him. I'd have thought if it had bothered Shaun he'd have just asked him not to mention it again.

It was important for Fu to start well, but it's almost as if Murphy was destined to win that frame... Fu was nicely in when a possible big bounce left him snookered behind the black. Murphy then missed a long blue, but played such a bad positional shot that he left Fu nothing easy. Fu attempted a double, left the white behind the pink, but the red came back and finished as a sitter for Murphy to the middle. On top of that, Murphy also had a fluke earlier in the frame when he played a suspect safety.

Can he push on from here like Robertson did in his match?

The only problem is that I'm forced to listen to Willie Thorn who is the best player in the world.
Haha indeed And I like Parrot as well. Hendry is fantastic btw. He should get *his* own show!

There is no question that Robertson has played the best snooker of the tournament so far. It's just a question whether he has peaked too early. The draw only gets tougher now, probably Trump in the quarters and Selby in the semis...
Thanks for replying, I'll hopefully catch a bit of it on the highlights later. I agree Robertson as a whole has been very impressive, and if it goes to plan and he meets Selby... what a match that could be... Though you could be right peaking too soon has been the downfall of many in this marathon!

Yeah I didn't like that. Rob I think means well, no malice there, he's trying to be complementary, but it's not very smart. He should do better and not embarrass Shaun like that.
