I think his safety in the first couple of frames in this season was mediocre at best.

Well i have seen quite a lot of Hendry in the 90's and I'm a big fan of him and old school, but it feels like Neil this season is hitting tons more consistently than Stephen did. Okay there are more tournaments, but how much stamina is required. It is still an amazing achievement and it might be never beaten, like Stephens 7 worlds or Ronnie's 12 maximums

I think his safety in the first couple of frames in this season was mediocre at best.

Basicly it´s a standing milestone if he gets it. Like Davis first televised max., Hendrys 7.th title etc. if there had been as many tournaments in the nineties or early part of this century, Hendry, O´Sullivan and Higgins would probably have been able to do it as well. Still I think it could be a record to stand for a long time, no matter what happens, as O´Sullivan is only a part time player, and I don´t really see anyone else capable of getting above 99 at the moment.

Hendry didnt hit centuries so consistently as Neil this season. It really means so much to him) i think if he will keep trying and missing them he will crush anyone. Trying so hard. Seriously, should make one in the quarters. And if he keeps playing like that he might just win this one. Ronnie vs Neil would be amazing
