Why is coverage being so neglected this year?? It's just ended on the red button to make way for some race or other, so I turned to Eurosport and there's no coverage on their channels, either!

Yeah. It's pretty poor. I hope as the game grows that changes in the future.

During the Welsh Open there were some really encouraging signs from BBC Wales - on at least two occasions they cancelled programs to stay with the snooker, but then it comes to the big one and we get this! The mind boggles.

How is it, that during Wimbledon fortnight, the BBC can afford to run separate feeds for all 123 courts, but then for the snooker, funds are suddenly so tight that they can only run to one feed for a couple of hours at a time?

I am enjoying the tournament so far, a lot of great matches and frames .... just was wondering, has anybody noticed a strange cue action of Kyren Wilson? I really did not like it. He seems to slow a lot just before delivering the cue ball, on the very last swing. I know some other players maybe do it too, but not as significantly, and it just seems weird, not as smooth as others cue action.

Can't steal them all. :smile: I kind of expected Fu to clear up when Murphy broke down on 65-0, the way the match had gone, but 4-4 it is. Nice. :smile:

Lovely break from Fu, great finesse around the black spot, as usual. :smile:

Murphy was somewhat unlucky though, he played a great positional shot up and down the table, but finished in just about the worst place possible.

Robertson-Allen nicely poised at 4-4, and I wouldn't be surprised if Murphy-Fu is the same. There won't be much advantage either way in any case. :smile:

Yes indeed.

Not exactly lots of high scoring matches but lots of frame steals which I find provides more drama.
I'm enjoying the tournament so far. Some great snooker.

Accomplished in what? Qualified as what?, very subjective topics , as I doubt you would have one clue how to do what I do, or make what I make,so at best you are only more accomplished in your specific area, come into my world and you would be a complete novice. I fear Arbi has found a soulmate and what you really are trying to say is you think your better than most because you have some money. Your opinion on the snooker, and anything else in general is as valid as anyone's on here, and for my part most welcome , I like to hear differing views on things it makes life interesting, and you can learn things or have your perception of things changed, but the betting thing is just a bit much.

take it easy man .. no need to get so philosophical
