Damn. I missed it. Not too surprised with the result, since you'd always feel that Perry gave everything he got while Ronnie wasn't firing all cylinders. Oh well, I'm hoping for a Robertson vs Ronnie match at some point.

Yes sad to see. Hopefully he'll be able to win the last 3 frames.

    I think that's Ronnie's best win in a while.

Well, what can you say. That was an excellent match and a valiant effort from Joe, but he just fell short at the end. Can't say ROS wasn't put under any pressure in that one, and fair dues he came up with the goods when it most mattered without really getting into 3rd gear. Looks like it's going to take something very special to stop him again this year.

After more than a decade of wasted talent I feel that Ronnie must pay back to his fans who have been frustrated n tortured along him over the years. So when he does not do it I lose interest in watching snooker . While he is in it I am gonna watch every match but I must be honest I am not really enjoying Doherty vs. McManus .. its a mismatch at best n by the way McManus is a threat to anyone just because he is probably the second best tactician after Selby ... and no Higgins is nowhere in the best tacticians list anymore

Ronnie did just enough in the end although Joe was in first in almost all the frames today and his form really dropped compared to the first two sessions and let Ronnie off the hook.

It also shows that ROS in definitely beatable.
really?? doesn't it show that you can play great for 2 sessions but Ronnie will just outclass you in the 3rd?

Joe played exceptionally well for most of the match but unfortunately he missed some crucial moments. With a bit of luck/bottle he should have beaten Ronnie.

Thanks Ronnie ... WC would have been over me if you had lost today. Its hard to watch anyone else play (unless its Selby off course) after such a level of performance

Come on Ken...get the final 4 frames of this session and you're back in the match...and we can look forward to a great last session tonight.

Perry played exceptional and deserved the win imo.

It also shows that ROS in definitely beatable.

Doherty is in lots of trouble.

Looking forward to some good matchups today.
    Picking Trump, Hawkins and Dale.
