Hoping the Spaceman progresses...very likeable character and a good player. Gotta love the shoes

It's the incessant jabbering and pretentious style that irritates me so much. If he just spoke normally it wouldn't be so bad, but it's like you can hear his brain ticking over as he constructs his sentences; those annoying pauses in his delivery as he searches for clever ways to say something that's really very simple. And I wholeheartedly agree with others on this forum who find the BBC commentators obnoxious and at times disrespectful towards the players. They should tone it down quite a bit imo.

I really don't care who wins with the Selby vs Carter match.
/Come on Carter

Where the hell was this Mark Davis yesterday???
At least we would of had a decent game and i am hoping he can come back to make a match of it but i doubt it from 9- 4 down.

I'm surprised the players can concentrate what with all the fake noises from the audience

- I like watching Selby and his extreme tenacity
- I do not enjoy watching Carter (too negative)
- We need a strong enough opponent for ROS (Ali's death-stare doesn't work, we know that much)

Davis really had to put some effort in to lose that frame. It was kind of like the third or fourth frame between Williams and Robertson yesterday, but Williams managed to win in the end, while Davis successfully threw this one away...
