You can't specify seats. But they give you the same seat as last year unless you request the other half of the draw, which is meaningless these days because the draw isn't known till later and the tickets go on sale earlier.

Ah, so he got very lucky on his first ever year getting that seat next to the players and has been there ever since, fair enough.

Can i ask? How does front row Brian get that same chair every year? Are they sold years in advance? What happens if two people want to buy the same seat? I'm not having a pop, i couldn't care less who sits where, just curious (contadicting myself there a bit, but you know what i mean)

Not just Brian, it is the whole first 2-3 rows...very unfair in my opinion. Tickets are allocated on a ballot.......except for the monopolisers in these best seats. I'm sure certain other elderly people, or young children, would appreciate the chance to have better views and/or extra leg room.

It should be random....you are begrudging someone else, possibly someone stuck up in the heavens on row M, a chance to be closer to the action.

Cool, just wondered why the grudge. Actually the view from row M, especially along the sides, is much better. In fact, it is random, they give you whatever seat you happened to have the previous year; in my case it was C30 in 1995 so that's where I am. I know quite a few people who have season tickets who are quite far back - you just don't know that because you don't see them so often.

I want the worlds to move to China for two reasons:

a) I live in Japan so the times would be more convenient for me.
b) It would mean those people on the front row at the Crucible who monopolise the best seats wouldn't be able to attend anymore.

The Chinese events are terrible.

I wouldn't mind the WC go somewhere else in the UK though.

If Higgins drags it back to 9-9, it looks like they will take them off which would be a shame (because I will be asleep when they come back after the evening session haha).

Really inevitable now, probably they'll be pulled off after this frame. Damn...can't afford to stay up as late as last night again...work is suffering (too bad )
