I think that is not bad for a social club that is "not" a snooker club

Fairly decent standard in the Premier League now ( except for me ! ) .....if you have the time , ever thought about a return . Always great to see decent players like yourself playing in the league .

11 pounds an hour peak time, 4 pounds off peak. I would be at the club every day at 2pound an hour

Not done a Sunday handicap for years .....still do one on a Thursday night though . They have deals where you can play for 5 hours for £10.

Very few clubs in our area or the surrounding vicinity , which is why my mates club is doing so well . But yes , challenging times .

I know clubs are closing but there are still places about . I was at my club on Thursday and there was a waiting list to play ...........and there are 16 tables in the club . It is out there , just not many places to play at unlike a few years ago .
i played at your club many times over the years and won the sunday handy cap a few, plus doing the epsom league and all over the london pro am scene so i know how things have changed. who can afford 5/7 an hour and whos got the time to play?? these are changing challenging times.. many club owners are simply waiting for the developers to turn up with the proper money

When I say recently I don't mean just the World Championships period but the first half of this year.

And I was speaking to one of the committee and he said the snooker tables have never taken as so much money for many, many years.

So I would disagree with your statement; at least in my area, there is a resurgence in interest
alright in your area its sunny days but lets go for a proper walk around the uk shall we?! im contrasting the percentage up in the tv to whats really going on on the ground and who things were to how they are now
