Fair play to Wazza so far, he looks right at home.

Yup, I was irritated by that, let alone Ding. Glad that he won that frame. Anyway I wonder who is coaching Ding at the moment? Anyone giving him pep talk during interval ?

McManus goes to the interval 3 - 1 ahead of Higgins. A good effort by McManus. Higgins hasn't turned up yet.

Wasley had Ding under pressure .. pushed the boat out a bit with an extravagant attempt ... gonna pay the price now

Mcmanus could be about to annihalate Higgins here if John doesn't get into gear. Alan's looking pretty good despite a few bits of bad luck.

Although Ding has won 5 tournaments this season, he has really struggled in most of the major UK tournaments. He needs some luck.

Yeah, pretty strong approach in that frame. Quite methodical for a player who is receiving such spotlight and pressure for the first time.

Ding playing like Burnett earlier in the day while Wasley is on fire ... Gotta be honest .. I saw Wasley scratch around Higgins once and wondered who told him to turn professional ... he has improved leaps n bounds .. impressed with his matchplay and shot selection as well

So, after I took a break from watching snooker for almost an entire year, I'm back and I find Ding struggling in the first round of the Worlds.

    Good old days..
