Well obviously everyone can't always play like Ronnie,Selby has to play to his own abilities which gets the job done even it is boring.

As I said before, Selby can play an open game if he chooses to do so. He's got over 300 centuries and two 147s. He just chooses to play attritional stuff.

The issue is Selby's own dreadful scoring performance, I'd say. He has always played this style against O'Sullivan, however, he actually made winning breaks himself, and in this match, he never quite did, which is throwing people off.

See if you take your chances .. it does not really matter what style Selby plays ... it really is that simple and RoS should have learned that much a decade ago .. but all the talent in the world does not mean you have all the brain in the world too
