In about ten hours play, he has made one frame winning break. His highest break this evening is 34. He didn't make a 50 break in the first eleven frames.

I accept that he is desperate to win, but snooker is completely dependent on a TV audience, and I find it impossible to believe that the average person in the street could possibly enjoy watching his excruciating style of play.

Agreed. It's all part of the game, and he is very good at what he does, so can see the tactical appeal, but every frame is the same. Try to make it 30 min at least with small breaks and lots of snookers, even drag it on after you have won the frame by playing a safety when your opponent needs 1-2 snookers rather than finish it off. In fairness, it is however up to O'Sullivan to break this, and he just can't.

Wille Thorne explains how a shot is to be played nearly every shot ..........then the player plays it another way and he says that was the other option.........drives me bloody mad
