No Sir... I have seen this all before... This is how it is. Sad, but true.

I'm not a Selby hater, just a genuine snooker fan...

The view in your country may be different, but over here in the UK it's Football or nothing... They only notice snooker on the sports pages when Ronnie wins...

Well, he did make one 74 break, but that is literally his only break big enough to win a frame in one visit.

I'm sure if he had the option, Selby would vote for the black to begin each frame tight on the bottom cushion rather than on its spot.

Yeah, i remember the break and he pottet a few really nice balls in the first frames of the session, but still...
Who was the last world champion winning the final without a single century? Does anyone know?

I don't recall the green you're talking about. The fluked red was in the 1st session. I'm talking about Ronnie's luck in the 2nd session, where he was mi****ting shots all over the place but getting away with it.

There was once a time when this forum was frequented by sensible, fair, genuine snooker fans, but the level of immaturity I've witnessed over the last three dozen pages makes me genuinely sad.

Why can't people just appreciate snooker for what it is, slow and fast games alike? Why is slow snooker automatically 'boring'. Why, when your favourite player isn't winning, does it mean the other guy is 'lucky'?

O'Sullivan fans won't give Selby any credit, and vice versa. It's ridiculous. This is the kind of stupid, banal bickering I expect from moronic football fans!

Well like Hazel said don't make plans it's gonna be a late one... This is what I intimated to earlier. A long and scrappy final session, Only die-hard fans watch it to the end. Most people either tire of it and want to watch somet else at 10 / 10.30pm.. It end's around midnight, too late for the press to be bothered to write about it, Wed. is too late and none-snooker fans by then have forgotten all about the last 17 days... the sports pages are full of football sh'te as ever, nobody cares anyway, as Selby in not a 'name' known by the general public and has ground out a late night win with several hour long frames...

I don't care what the newspapers do. I care about an exciting final. Don't you dare try and call yourself a snooker fan with disgraceful comments like this.

You really think so? What about the bad luck on the green which enabled Selby to close the gap to 4 (rather than 6). There was the fluked red from Selby too in the 1st session.

There's no way ROS has had a session like that go for him. In virtually every frame things went against him. First two sessions were what you'd call normal - bit of luck here or there which will always happen. But the 3rd session was just....ridiculous. And that last frame was one of the most incredible frames I've ever seen.
