OMFG Ronnie what tha hell was that.
And that Selby is just too lucky.I know Ronnie is bad today, but selby didn't deserve the lead, no way sir.If he wins he will be the most boring snooker world champion ever, despite the fact his nickname is "jester" he was never fun to watch.Just horrible and bad snooker, "Peter Ebdon" style.

There's no way ROS has had a session like that go for him. In virtually every frame things went against him. First two sessions were what you'd call normal - bit of luck here or there which will always happen. But the 3rd session was just....ridiculous. And that last frame was one of the most incredible frames I've ever seen.

I don't think "destined to win" is a legit assessment of the situation. Selby wasn't anywhere near being excellent himself, but he managed to turn O'Sullivan cold, enough to make him a ghost on the table, till the interval arrived.
Then, maybe upon mulling over how he could make a great profit out of this session with his opponent playing like that, he put himself under pressure and choked hard, only to be presented with the slender's lead as a consolation prize.
With the final session coming, "I could have been X frames up" or "I could have been Y frames down" becomes equally irrelevant with a scoreline like this. To be honest, with the snooker they played in patches, someone playing his A+ game could have destroyed both of them, but it's all hypothetical, so, it's what we have at hand.

apparently the second session went on for too long, the tournament director had to step in and end it early

That reaction from Selby at the end tells me one thing.. Someone's getting some action before the next session

That 23rd frame was enough to break either .... I suspect it has broken ROS ..... though from ROS perspective the interval came at the perfect time ... Mark would have taken the next couple just riding the adrenaline after that

I'm sure if he had the option, Selby would vote for the black to begin each frame tight on the bottom cushion rather than on its spot.

One thing is for sure - if 'luck' is to even itself out in the final session, then ROS will be world champion again.

Beautiful...I just love all of it. The drama, the tension, the mistakes as well, the bs (with a wink) in here...it's all good
More of the same please...

Anyone know why this session finished early?
Only played six frames today so far, and maybe twelve later?
Also just noticed on world snooker the time says seven for tonight's session, isn't it normally eight on finals day?
Bad miss on that pink but he must have thought he needed the black.

I feel stressed just watching that, I can’t even comprehend what they are going through, would love Ronnie to will, but at the mo I don’t see it.

People can criticise that session all they want, but it was pure drama and Selby was absolute class up until the mid-session interval.
