    We call these type of shot's a 'soz mate...'

    You do benefit from the in-off, but it's not a 'miss' cos you've hit the ball on..

    If a player goes in off, you could give the player the option of playing from the D or having the balls replaced possibly.

    I had the same thought exactly...but indeed how to determine when to call it a miss. Too much open for interpretation I feel, so a no-go I'm afraid.
