I thought Eurosport would have snapped him up and paired him with Neal Foulds [ another great commentator ] .
Thought the BBC would have used Foulds as well .
yep I thought Eurosport would have got CE ages ago.
Neil Foulds has been on BBC but for those skits between sessions with the others for quizzes. but I don't know if he did commetary or studio pundit ?
Guys did anyone hear willie Thorne mention that the free ball rule had changed recently? He said this as the ref backtracked on his free ball call in the match Davis vs Dale? I need clarification as I heard something like this a month ago and couldn't get any answers
interesting, from what I understand the Free Ball rule has not changed for many years. But what usually happens is a rule is slightly amended and years later people say "oh that's new"
like the Foul and a Miss rule is considered new but appeared in the 90s IIRC

Yes I did hear that and am equally bemused?? As far as I was aware it was still "see both sides of any ball on..", rather than "Full ball". If it's changed, then it's new to me??

both edges for Free ball
Full ball for Miss consideration
ah could be as the square plate did look less busy than a Eureka. the tv-shot was acute
there was a closer look to the cue during Dale using the rest. The splicing did not look like an Eureka to me.
..and at the end he was waving with the extension...full Amboyna obviously.
So Stupree is probably right
mind control > body control > cue control > ball control
