The comeback v Higgins in the 07 final and the consistency since along with his match play and temperament puts him in the top 5 imo,Robertson is somewhere around there too and Selby and Robertson are both imo slightly better players than Mark Williams,the top 16 now is harder than 99 - 03 when Williams made his mark,Selby and Robertson are both better than Hendry too for the same reasons,its subjective of course.

I sometimes forget about Mark Williams. At his best he was great to watch. I would have him up there as a long potter ahead of Robertson.

Don't think I'd have him that high, maybe just squeezing inside the top 10 but never top 5. Williams, Higgins, Hendry, Davis, Ronnie for me the best 5 of all time. You would have to look at others like Robertson before naming Selby because until he wins a WC its hard to class anyone that good because you simply have to have a world title on your CV to be classed a real great of the game.
