The low part of the draw is pretty tough. Maguire has a tough task ahead if he has to go all the way...And tough draw for Higgins as well, that Tartan Battle is a major upset in disguise. Can't wait!
Ton Praram III Series 1 | 58" 18.4oz 9.4mm | ash shaft + 4 splices of Brazilian Rosewood | Grand Cue medium tips
I got tickets to see Stephen Maguire vs Ryan Day, Ali Carter vs Xiao Guodong and Stuart Bingham vs Ken Doherty.
Purchased blind as it was before the matches were announced, but I'm not too unhappy with it. Carter vs Guodong doesn't particularly interest me. Mainly because I'm not the biggest Ali Carter fan, but it could well be a good match.
Mags vs Ryan Day could be a good 'un, and I'm happy to see Ken Doherty, even if I can't see him winning. Or even taking it close. (Love to be proven wrong though, love a bit of Ken-Do action.)
When was the last time the whole top 16 went through to the last 16? Has it ever even happened? There always seems to be a shock or 2 so its not a bet i'd put on, but best of luck.

Ronnie O' Sullivan seven times the record breaking Snooker Master
It's quite interesting to see the draw as for years an Asian takeover has been predicted, mainly from China, but the draw is as heavily dominated by the home countries as it's ever been(I'm including Ken Doherty as one of is, I know strictly speaking he's not)
And of the three Asian players, Fu and Ding have been around a long time. I'd guess Ding to be the favorite to win this year, but if the Rocket doesn't lose in one of the shorter matches, he may win a third straight.
