    • Why is he called hitman? I have never seen him even hit a ball properly in years ... all he does is moan all the time

More interesting...what cue is he using atm?
mind control > body control > cue control > ball control

When he messes up he punches the table. Broke his fingers once doing it.

I quite like Holtie, but I bet he'd win more if he didn't break down so completely every time something goes slightly wrong.

I think from the tv-shot earlier at his shoes it is still the Glover Eureka replica.

Could be a late one. Do they have to finish tonight or another session tomorrow?

I thought it was a Maximus cue, ebony and amboyna with a custom plate. Matching Amboyna extension and mini butt too

ah could be as the square plate did look less busy than a Eureka. the tv-shot was acute

I always used to watch on freesat when both tables were available at all times but now that the BBC are reducing TV coverage in favour of people watching online it is a bit annoying when you can't access the streams to get the start of the session.
Yeah I've noticed this also.. the captions from the previous matches don't seem to update for the new match(es), so you end up back and forth refreshing and trying to get the 'Live Coverage' button to select whichever match isn't gonna be shown on 301 - which is guesswork in itself!!

It was better before with 301 and 302 on Freeview. God knows why they don't use that channel anymore as it still exists, but the beeb choose not to use it???

The online coverage is generally good once you can access it tho, and at least there's no Joe Johnson grumbling and fiddling with his microphone!!

My biggest beef, however, is still the shameful way that Clive Everton was un-ceremoniously dropped by the BBC in an age-ist and crass manoeuvre. The most knowledgeable commentator who is always even handed and at the same time whitty. Even though it's been years now I'm still very annoyed

                            • I thought Eurosport would have snapped him up and paired him with Neal Foulds [ another great commentator ] .

Thought the BBC would have used Foulds as well .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

                              • Guys did anyone hear willie Thorne mention that the free ball rule had changed recently? He said this as the ref backtracked on his free ball call in the match Davis vs Dale? I need clarification as I heard something like this a month ago and couldn't get any answers
