      • Selby certainly seems to be in fine form but so far he's just having trouble finishing them off for whatever reason, in both matches so far.

I was just thinking the same. I used to quite like Carter and not like Selby. Now I feel the opposite. Ali does moan a lot about his own bad rubs and his opponents lucky snookers but he never acknowledges when it goes the other way.
I do like his fighting qualities though. He's come a long way in recent years because of that.

Yes I also agree with the last bit...he hasn't had it easy and battled very hard to get where he is. Strange thing is, I would think someone like that probably would see things more positive...I mean how did he come this far by being so negative all the time. It just doesn't compute for me. Probably why I get so overly annoyed with Ali at times. We know how good a player he is. If he could get himself to stay positive, he could do some major damage! Shame really.

He played well but I still feel he wasn't at his peak. it doesn't really matter if he plays well enough.

Now c'mon Selby wrap this up!

                • Well done Selby.

He's got a real chance now to win this tournament.

                  • Exciting line up tomorrow. If Wasley can play like he did against Ding in the last 2 frames, he could steamroll Dominic.

Does he still have the energy to do so? He was playing quite comfortably so maybe he'll be okay.

                      • Get in there Selby, there's an open top bus some time in May here in Leicester for the Leicester City FC lads with the Championship trophy, i'd love to see Mark next to them with a trophy of his own
After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

                        • Good win for Selby, but he still made quite a few unforced errors towards the end. It was enough to beat Carter, but will it be enough against the likes of Robertson later in the tournament? He will be a big favourite in the quarter-finals though, whomever he faces.

It's like watching a car crash in slow motion reading some of the idiotic comments because Ronnie is losing a game (shakes head)
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

                              • I've never seen his Dad at a tournament that Ronnie plays in, i think he stays away for obvious reasons, could be wrong though?
