The BBC make me f***ing laugh!! Earlier today they showed a programme called 50 Years of Sport at the BBC, or something, in which presenter Sue Barker announced towards the end that they'd 'saved the best till last'. This, justifiably so, was the '85 World Snooker Championship Final. Despite this 'bigging up' of the sport, they'd rather show the Antique f***ing Roadshow on the red button, rather than the snooker.

Not sure why that's relevant, but you're thinking of a different programme anyway.

I don't want to watch it on the BBC sport website. I want to watch it on my tv. Is it really too much to expect they'd show the snooker on the red button instead of some crappy repeat??

I can only speak for myself here, but, yes i could watch it on the BBC website on a device, in my case an iPad with a 9 inch screen, but i'd sooner watch it on my 42 inch screen, but then i have to watch it on Eurosport.


I prefer the BBC personally.

Huh? You mentioned the 85 WS Final...that program was aired last week on the bbc. Yes the fact that I taped it probably isn't very relevant...I was thinking out loud there

I only mentioned it to highlight what hypocrites the BBC are. And anyway, I've already explained that you're thinking of a different programme.

It would be great if they introduced a "choose camera angle " option on the red button or live stream . Personally I like when they show you shots from the high up camera at the side of the table . I would also like to be able to watch from baulk end too

You say that but I caught the end of that last frame your watching. What an amazing swerve and pot on the green and what about that incredible pink. Wow.
