c) Willie Thorne's number of 147s in practice

d) Ebdon's 12 break. Not even Selby could drag it that long.

I also think Ronnie's 5 minute max is untouchable.

That's already gone. Neil Robertson took over 7 minutes to make a break of 7 in the decider of his match against Marco Fu in the World Open! :biggrin:

(Probably Fred Davis or someone in the 40's / 50s that got beat by Joe I expect, but how about since the John pulman era? Dennis Taylor maybe?)

worrying signs already for McManus, he hit the wrong red on a safety earlier and was lucky to catch another red thin enough to get the white back into baulk. And now has missed a red trying to hit it thin from just 5 inches away. Don't know whether the efforts to get this far have caught up with him but this match has the making of a whitewash already IMO.

Me as well...however I also like Selby to come through. Should be a good tight&tactical match between Mark and Alan. Looking forward to this one especially.
