Like I said...he has ton of tons on his mind...needs to get it out or his play will definately suffer!

Btw Not a problem for me personally...not a huge Robbo fan.

        • Let me say again how impressed I have been with Trump having seen his matches so far...he seems in good spirits, is in control of himself, doesn't panic, and has patience. I can see him go far, if he overcomes Robbo.

*haven't been the biggest Trump fan in te past, that's why I'm pleasantly surprised*

Good question. He was as bad today as he was good yesterday.

            • It's no surprise Trump is leading, he has slowly been coming good Ok Robertson isn't playing his best probably because he has one eye on that century of centuries but I can still see Trump winning this match.

I'm not quite so sure that it's all down to that.

He was very below par today and, even missing easy balls when no century was available anyway, I think perhaps it was just a bad session. I suppose we will know tomorrow.

                • Weird session of snooker this afternoon. I didn't expect both favourites to struggle so much, and I certainly didn't expect the kind of snooker O'Sullivan played to be enough for a 6-2 lead. But at least we know Murphy enjoyed watching him play and learning from his mediocre performance, while O'Sullivan actually came to play and beat his opponent, and gave a masterclass in taking the maximum out of a session. He has played a couple of strong morning sessions in recent years, so maybe he can push on tomorrow and try to win with a session to spare.

I certainly have more confidence in Robertson coming back into the match, but obviously not with the kind of snooker he played today. He missed all kinds of balls, and he just couldn't force his way into the frames like he was doing against Allen. Nice to see Trump playing alright again, he has improved with each round and showed some fluency at times today. He has a psychological advantage over Robertson for some reason, and this session has only strengthened it. I expect Robertson to get back into it tomorrow though.

Maybe yes, he was below par today. But I still feel to a degree he has ton of tons on his mind, and it is distracting him, making him loose frames. You could clearly see yesterday what I means to him when he missed twice to get that elusive 100th. Therefore...he needs to focus completely on the match at hand (which is difficult when something is distracting you) and the century will follow automatically at some point. I mean, he will need to think this way...if he doesn't start playing well, then the 'last' century won't come and he will loose the match, effectively missing out on his chance alltogether...

                    Anyway...just my (warped) thoughts

                      • I think the pressure of the 100 100s is becoming quite a risk to Robertson now. If he goes out to Trump without making it, he's blown it, hasn't he?

He's a professional and should be able to dismiss the disappointment should that happen, but I worry how it will effect his game in general and for the future.

                        • Stephen Hendry can't see Murphy coming back against Ronnie, but Murphy shouldn't be counted out just yet. Ronnie is 6-2 up though having not hit top gear yet, which is frightening.

I think Robertson's sick or something. He doesn't look too well. Taking nothing away from Trump though who has played very well.

Robertson will get the 100th I think. It's on his mind though, 100%.

                            • I actually don't think it's the 100 thingy. I consider Neil a pretty sensitive, even "soft" character and I'm pretty sure he's feeling quite intimadated by Judd and his well-displayed disliking of both Neil's game and Neil himself... I think this affects Robbo as well as Judd tends to play better against players he dislikes.
