Great news. COC was a great tournament, and great coverage from ITV, with Everton and Foulds with McManus

The Chinese tournaments are nowhere near as enjoyable. No atmosphere.
This is why snooker will die if it moves to China.

Could not agree more! It's nice to finally read a post from someone who agrees with my mistrust of the Asian tournaments, and Chinese snooker 'fanism' in general.

I've said this before, but Ronnie wrote on Twitter he got 9 on the trot in practice, was it a line up? Did he break of the black cush and spread them? Or just spread the reds out by hand? Either way it takes some doing. Not sure why Willie still calls himself Mr. Maximum, a very unworthy title.

I heard it was from a twitter from Judd Trump who was practising on a table near him and saw Ronnie get 8 maximums in a afternoon.

When It come to Willie Thorn. I heard that he would invite folks to play as long as they agreed to smash the pack on the break.

i hope he means cut out the ridiculous show for an hour in the evenings on 2 eg 7pm-8pm and then cutting away to other broadcasts

The bbc need to get with the program.
If they had a sport channel, or considered showing the snooker and their other sports on BBC3 instead of the stupid comedy that's killing the station, they'd be able to show the whole tournament. You can't even sky+ the matches you'll miss unless you watch them on Eurosport. Too many cut-offs and station changes.

Already unbelievable stuff is happenning. Barry was making an amazing clearance only to get an enrormous kick, and suddenly O'Sullivan is 4-2. Hasn't deserved that by any means. This gime is some cruel unfair **** sometimes

I am getting so sick&tired of players bottling it against ROS...every time at the end of a frame they choke or get a kick and leave him in to clear up...basically giving away frames.

Dammit it's just so utterly frustrating for someone who likes a close match! I can see ROS running away with it...again.

Well kick wasnt Barry's fault. Everything seems to play for ROS at this championship, that sucks

Yes but in that last frame. Ronnie didn't have a shot on and played safe. Barry still could have won that with a better safety shot. He didn't. He knows he needs to play at the top of his ability to beat Ronnie.

And not miss easy browns into middle bags.
