  • All depends entirely on what you're looking for in a snooker match...

There were fourteen century breaks in the entire tournament. No-one apart from Steve Davis made more than two. Ray Reardon reached the semi-finals and didn't make one all tournament. There were no centuries in the final. There were only two breaks of over 130 in the entire tournament.

We are spoiled today, we just don't realise it.
uh-oh. You're gonna turn this into another one of those debates.

Indeed. The standard is very high these days.

Get them beers in the fridge then.

I'm always looking for tension and drama in a snooker match. Close fought battles, mistakes are fine as well...as long as the players are still up for the fight. Chess with balls. I don't care for just big breaks and I despise one-sided matches.

Not too much to ask for really now is it

              • Don't have a problem when Robertson plays like this, he can be a joy to watch. Why oh why does he need to play slow at times, this is far more devastating way of playing the game, pot your opponent off the table.

                • Well done indeed. Neil very confident now. Come on Mark...get your lead back

                  • Selby needs to be more positive and impose himself more. I said to my mate earlier I can see Robertson winning this match without too much difficulty. I can see him dominating for a period of time, whereas Selby doesn't have it in him right now.

                              • I hate how the commentators always assume a bad shot is down to a bad contact. Sometimes a bad shot is simply....a bad shot.
