  • Thanks, Dean. I've just heard the tv announcer say that the Hairy Bikers were on cos of the early finish at the snooker. How did that come about? Were they just really quick frames or something?
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

    • Just finished watching the program of the '85 Final, which was a repeat on the Beeb 2 weeks ago.

That was a bit special! Beautiful pictures and memories :applouse:

Surely Selby will take the positives from that session, only a high break of 37 and only 2 frames a drift!!

OT, but the BBC always seem to replay (or highlight) the same matches. Davis vs Taylor, O'Sullivan vs Higgins 2009, Selby vs ROS 2010, Davis vs ROS 1997, Williams vs Hendry etc.

If they want to go back in time I wish they'd show 'new' matches.

Well, that match ended on a high, with a tense and high-quality final session, so it wasn't all bad...

But I'm sure this one will be better all around, starting with tonight's session.

              • Who are the New Zealand couple, I missed some of the match?

                • Mike Dunn made an interesting point - it's hard for these two to have a classic match of high quality from both because if ROS is playing well, Selby is blown off the table and if Selby is playing well, ROS is getting frustrated. It might be a close match, but it might not be a Selby/Robertson type where the final session quality was high from both.

Not sure I agree with it, but I never thought of it that way.

Anyways, if things carry on, Selby is definitely winning the session.

Oh I absolutely agree with what Mike Dunn said there...those are exactly my thoughts on this match. And yes the Selby Robertson semi should have been the Final.

That's not too say this can't be a good match...
