I don't mind tactical aspects of the game one bit, but I can't stand it when a player deliberately keeps the table tight, instead of looking for openings. So yeah, Selby manages to lull me into sleep.

As usual, the world final is the dullest match in the entire tournament. We haven't really had a proper final in 10 years (Williams-Doherty 2003). The tournament is simply too long and they need to cut down the amount of frames being played.

Snooker should not be about stamina, its never been a game about fitness.

I agree and think it's the three day semi final that takes too much and the players put all their effort into winning that.
If this stays close the final session should be good as Ronnie will start to go for stuff sooner or later.
Until today his long potting has been fine, needs a frame soon though...
Odds on Selby were pretty big at 5-10 down, might go favourite after this frame.

To many people with blind hatred for Selby so they over look the FACT he is a proper match player, he has over 300 career centuries a suberb safety game, a brilliant A, B, and C game and is always tough to beat because of an awesome temprement, so what if he wins ugly, getting your name on that trophy against the best player ever would be a fantastic achievement!Last edited by scottley; 5 May 2014, 02:19 PM.After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4
