Yeah, i remember the break and he pottet a few really nice balls in the first frames of the session, but still...
Who was the last world champion winning the final without a single century? Does anyone know?

      • I can imagine Peter Ebdon siting comfortably on his armchair, drinking his fresh juice, eating his vegan stuff and enjoying the match with a big smile on his face...
        Come on Jimmy!!!!

No Sir... I have seen this all before... This is how it is. Sad, but true.

I'm not a Selby hater, just a genuine snooker fan...

The view in your country may be different, but over here in the UK it's Football or nothing... They only notice snooker on the sports pages when Ronnie wins...

Graeme Dott, highest break of 68 in the final.

EDIT: Sorry, my bad. Actually it was Neil Robertson (HB: 90).

You say you're a genuine snooker fan. Yet you seem to be more concerned with what the newspapers are doing. What a joke you are.

                  • Dramatic session, set up for tonight perfectly. All about if Rinnie can hit a bit of form and break the 30 minute frames.

Is it just me that thinks Selbys 'celebration' after winning that last frame is a bit ungracious? Weird thing to do when only 1 frame up with possible 12 to play.

Why can't people just appreciate snooker for what it is, slow and fast games alike? Why is slow snooker automatically 'boring'. Why, when your favourite player isn't winning, does it mean the other guy is 'lucky'?

O'Sullivan fans won't give Selby any credit, and vice versa. It's ridiculous. This is the kind of stupid, banal bickering I expect from moronic football fans!
NO mate,i gave credit to Selby when he won against robertson, now that was a great match. But this today, selby not even a century in 12 frames,he was strugling to make even a half century.Selby is playing dirty here, just for the money, not for the glory and the beauty of the games. NO one will talk about "his talents" no matter how many w.snooker championships he wins.
Now you tell me who is a snooker fan here?

I care about the future of snooker, and as Barry Hearn would no doubt tell you, column inches matter and snooker needs to get noticed.

Don't shoot the messenger immediately springs to mind...

                        • Yeah......thought that was an unnecessary celebration .

I should think that if Ronnie saw that , it will spur him on tonight .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

All that has absolutely zero to do with the enjoyment real snooker fans get out of a match like this. Ronnie worshippers and snooker have absolutely nothing in common with each other.

We will do just fine with a match like this...awesome stuff to watch!

Well formulated. Apart from couple of quality members, the discussion here has regressed to such level that, although I read it every now and then, I haven't been able to participate for a while.
