    Does Judd keep goats?

I only ask as one seems to have been chewing at his hair.

It's because when the spotlight's not on him he's a very good player, he just can't handle the big occasion and looks nervous all the time when playing on TV. If I were him I'd be looking for a sports psychologist like Steve Peters as his problems are all mental.
Let's be honest, he's outplayed Judd today, just keeps gifting him frames.

Performance wise so far you're right, but the Crucible does strange things to a player, but he's a much better player than he's shown so far.

I'm beginning to think he has some sort of mental problem when it comes to playing on TV as he always seems to do it in big matches but if you watch him in the qualifiers he never misses a black off the spot.
Tom looks under so much pressure, he's red faced and very uncomfortable with the cameras on him, although as i speak he looks to be clearing up, he needs a one visit break to get his arm loose.

It's nothing more than a series of events that resulted in something we decide to call luck.
Interesting philosophy, are you implying that such a shot can be preempted and relies on skill? Luck seems to be an easier explanation!
Not at all, Simon. All I was trying to do was point out the fact that there's no such thing as 'luck' - it doesn't exist. When a player flukes - for want of a better word - a pot, it simply happened due to a series of favourable cannons or whatever.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not excluding myself from the 'lucky git' attitude. You're sat in your chair and your opponent unintentionally pots a ball in the middle bag when he was aiming for the corner, the natural reaction is going to be "Lucky (so and so)". But none of that changes the fact that luck, as an entity, does not exist.

    As I read once somewhere:

If you believe in luck, then you believe either:
    (1) some people consistently defy probability, or,
    (2) some things aren't a result of cause and effect.

Yes. Quality. But I also like the Eurosport commentators as well so I'm all good.

Gilbert is 3 - 1 up to Hawkins. I can't see Hawkins staying behind long though.

Indeed. However Neil Foulds is pretty good though, as are Joe Johnson and David Hendon. The rest of the commentators on Eurosport are pretty bad/annoying.

    And we all love Hazel

Edit : pretty amazing shot that was!

So 2 - 2 for Ford and Trump.

I think Trump is playing the better snooker but keeps breaking down and Ford keeps managing to clean up. Unless Ford ups his game then I think Trump will win this.

I personally Love Steve as a commentator, Him and Hendry in the box is the best pairing.

All the rest are so cliched it's like they are mimicking themselves.

I'm watching on Eurosport with Neal Foulds and Phil Yates (I think) as commentator. Quite a good team.

And yes. He must have been in the land of nod for a good half a hour. The guy next to him kept looking at him.

Ah, i saw a picture on twitter that was a screen shot on some sort of tablet, thats why i thought he may have been blinking, he's not the first one to drop off and he won't be the last, revoke his season ticket
