What a miss by Murphy on a red allowing Robertson
to clear the remaining 3 reds and win the frame and
    match.

Why did it take so long to play this match?

Interesting matches will be played soon.

Still, I can't believe Robertson missed the simple red into the middle pocket to let Murphy in the balls. He was lucky to get another visit at the table.
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
      I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

An enjoyable morning. It was a little scrappy early on, so I switched to Hawkins and Fu, and they played some good snooker, both players clearing up from behind a couple of times. It looked like Fu would take it when he came from 4-2 down and got the first chance in the decider, but he broke down and Hawkins made a really good break under pressure. He is probably playing the best out of anyone this week, with the exception of Robin Hull perhaps. I wouldn't be surprised if he won the title...

I was able to catch up on Robertson-Murphy without knowing the result as well, and there were some good breaks made towards the end here as well, but also a couple of wasted chances you wouldn't normally expect, particularly Murphy's missed sitter when he was on the verge of winning. Robertson has kind of scraped his way to the semi-finals again, like he did in the China Open earlier in the year, but it gets tougher from here, so he will need to play a lot better.

Neil Robertson bellyaching about the conditions on Twitter.

For those watching are these complaints fair?

Perry and Maguire also said the tables were
            playing very poorly.

"Feel for Shaun though as we were both made to look stupid by the conditions." Robertson

Perry playing rock solid leads 3-0.

Gould up 2-0 and playing ok.

Is that the highest so far?

                      • It is. He erased the 139 mark from Robin Hull.

                        • Perry takes the match with some excellent
snooker but we will hear more from Hull
                          this season I would think.
Close match with Gould and Maguire.

                          • For Maguire's cue, it's not a Pyragon. It has four lower splices on the butt, rest is ebony. Looks to suit him very well for the moment, he's cueing beautifully.

                            • I like Joe Perry. Gutted for Hull though. It'd have been a big deal for him to reach the semis.

                              • Some great snooker from both of these later
matches. A decider for Maguire and Gould and
                                both a playing well.
