If u qualify for china you are on roughky 6k for this event, the wildcard match is an extra match for some players but not worth any money, in effect it puts the pro back a round and having to qualify to the last 32 or 64 whatever the format is, win or lose the wildcard match you are still on the 6k that you get for qualifying. Its basically a match to give exposure to the chinese amateur

Good win for Zhao Xintong again, he regularly beats everyone except the top players now. But unluckily for him it's Marco Fu next.

It's not surprising to see Higgins losing, he was 4-2 up and something like 40-0 up in the decider, but he has lost so many from these positions over the last two seasons and a half... Good clearance from Day in the decider though.

Williams-Hawkins looked like a good match as well, but unfortunately I saw very little of it.

Mark Williams beats Barry Hawkins 5-4, an interesting stat Barru Hawkins has only beaten Mark Willimas once in 11 meetings and that was in the 2009 Championship League When Barry beat Mark by 3 Frames to 1

Wow the Spaceman closed out his match with Judd with two consecutive centuries...5-2 win. Superb performance, he was practically running around the table. Full of confidence.

            Ding wins and Trump loses.

Trump played poorly and Dale wasnt playing
well either most frames but good enuff to win
            some scrappy frames.

This has been discussed before and the above is how I see it but it does seem wrong that Holt has already had to play one Qualifiying round, and then a Wildcard (well someone has to, 8 for this event) but to actually not get anything in the pocket would seem very harsh. So hopefully Holt is mistaken and he will get some readies in his wallet

This tournament has certainly produced some unexpected
results with so many top players being knocked out early.
I wouldnt be surprised if more lose early.
O'Sullivan, Trump, Hawkins, Walden are out so far.
Wednesday may bring more interesting results.
Hopefully my fave players Robertson and Ding will do well
                  in their matches.

Great win for the spaceman his first victory over Judd in 6 meetings, Dominic won the title in 2007, ten years after winning his first ranking title The Grand Prix in 1997.

Well, from 16th July... What a pity I didn't place any bets on Ronnie
Ten reds and not a colour...

What i noticed so far is Higgins looks much healthier and Dale plays with a maple cue.
mind control > body control > cue control > ball control
