The rule has not "changed" as such but the wording has been; to attempt to alleviate misunderstandings

This has been discussed before and the above is how I see it but it does seem wrong that Holt has already had to play one Qualifiying round, and then a Wildcard (well someone has to, 8 for this event) but to actually not get anything in the pocket would seem very harsh. So hopefully Holt is mistaken and he will get some readies in his wallet
At the bottom of the Prize money schedule it states:
"Players losing their first match will receive prize money in full however this money will not count towards the prize money rankings. Players who qualify for the final stages of an event but do not subsequently attend that event, for whatever reason, will not receive any prize money, nor will they receive any contribution towards the prize money rankings.
Players competing in the Pre Qualifier will be awarded the respective Round 1 (Last 128) losers prize money for losing in either the Last 128 round or the Pre-Qualifying round. No prize money will be awarded for winning the Pre-qualifying round."Up the TSF! :snooker:
