What did you all think of ITV4's Champion of Champion's coverage?

Camera shot of table too distant i thought. When eurosport cover i didnt have to change pic, itv i did. Was ok i thought, not brilliant.

The commentary during the matches and match analysis was excellent.

I found they did an excellent job in all areas.
        I really enjoyed it.

Superb coverage . My only wish with snooker would be to be able to choose the camera angle you want ( like F1) . I much prefer the side on view

I think whole team of presenters were brilliant Alan McManus has a very pleasing voice reckon he could get a job reading the news, smart suits, down to earth coverage the interview with Ali Carter was great well done 10/10.

I barely watched any of the tournament until the closing stages last night,Foulds and McManus's closing analysis was v good, breath of fresh air to see established players like them talking about lower ranked players re McManus on Joel Walker, not sure though about the seemingly perpetual Clive Everton's '3 up with 4 to play' guff with the scoreboard welded to the screen but congrats and kudos ITV,next stop the World Grand Prix in Llandudno in march.

I liked the ITV4 stuff, but I like the BBC commentators, probably just out of habit. It's not the same without Virgo shouting about where that cue ball's going, or Dennis Taylor's It's there! I do agree the interviews at the end were much better though, I remember squirming in my seat when Hazel did her "Dead Dad Dad Dead Dead Dad" interview with John Higgins

ITV4's coverage was quality. The only minor fault with it was to be found by a certain Marco Fu after the more distant camera angle revealed the SHOCKING state of his shoes!

Problem with them guys is the repetitive phrases/clichés they use every match. It's grown tired, IMO.

Am I right in thinking that Ding threw a bit of a tantrum in the practice room during his match with Ronnie ????? just caught the tail end of the conversation by the presenters.

I guess you haven't ever heard the snooker commentary outside the UK. BBC, ITV and British Eurosport coverage is very good. I have a large dish to get those channels.

Yes he did. Smacking balls around the table, white leaving the table and then punching the table. Quite a sight really.
