    • Barry Hawkins has the killer instinct of a rabbit on a motorway. What an embarrassment.

      Well done to Bond.

      • what a match !!!!!!!!! I wouldn't have minded who won but well done to Nigel Bond (and Barry Hawkins) for an absolute thriller

        • I really thought Hawkins had it this time at 5-0, but I don't know why, as Hawkins plays deciders in about 90% of his matches. It just had to go all the way.

I think this is the first time since I've been watching snooker that someone has completed a comeback from 5-0 down in a best-of-11, at least in the televised matches. Matthew Stevens came from 5-0 down against Hendry in the Masters a couple of years ago, but he lost the decider. I can't think of any others.

          • First from 5-0 for me also but Hawkins lost in similar fashion to Walden at the masters and he played some terrible shots that night towards the end.

Best two pound I ever spent anyway , made up for Selby loosing my accumulator today by a long way.

Let's hope Ronnie can play tomorrow now.

 I think it did that at about 5-3.

                • Well that was a great turn-around! Just watched the last few frames as my eyes kept closing last night at 5-3. Very well done Nigel! And Barry, well...he really should have finished it a couple of hours earlier. He will be gutted.

                  • Hi everyone,

though I've been following snooker for quite some years now, I've only recently found this forum and it's time for my first post.

What happened to Hawkins yesterday? I called it a night at 5:0 as I was sure it's just a matter of time for Barry to finish it off? Anyways, congrats to Bond for the win and cebs for the bet!

                      Welcome!

Hawkins failed to finish it off at 5-0 up and Bond kept on digging in and pulling back frame after frame...and slowly but surely he made it back to 5-5. Hawkins kept making too many mistakes and gave Bond chances...which he managed to take, so very well done to Nigel. A very good win for him.

                          • So Neil's off&running, but Kyren putting up a fight in the first frame.

Btw nice gesture from Neil bringing in the cricket bat in memory of Philip Hughes.

I played cricket in my younger years and never did like bouncers...always scared the holy crap out of me!

                            • I would have been much happier, if they would show Brecel - Allen match. I dont know why, but I cant stand Kyrel Wilson`s cue action before he delivers the shot (hope I used right term) and also I would love to watch Luca in action.

                              • It's on the website, might be on interactive don't know. You wouldn't be watching much of Luca anyway judging by the pistols firing start.
