Good response from Fu to take the 6th frame in one visit. Again I'm surprised that Maguire decided to concede there, as he only needed 12 penalty points to be able to tie the frame. He could have got three reds and three blacks easily enough, then gave the possible free ball a shot.

But I suppose he feels like getting on with it, because he has found a nice scoring rhythm tonight.

Btw how weird it is watching snooker without any commentary...the quiet is almost overbearing at times

Wow...Maguire 4-1 up. Odrl your prediction may be right on the money

Hoping Fu can take the next 2 at least...

Edit : well done Marco...4-2 it is.

A superb 113 from Stephen Maguire, never in trouble. These are dangerous times for Fu now, he has failed to score a point in the last two frames...

Just finished watching the afternoon match between ROS and McGill. Very entertaining and Anthony is a great lad! Very sporting and funny as well...hope to see more of him in the future.

Now on repeat some of the last frames of Bingham - Dott, who is 4-3 up. But indeed judging from an earlier remark in here I guess Bingham takes it in the end. Too bad as I would loved to have seen Dott progress...

And I see Trump is just about through with Davis atm...looks like a pretty extensive win 6-1.

No Eurosport coverage atm, but I will check the player very soon to follow the Maguire - Fu match.

Damn. Mark missing the final black. That must have hurt.

Two close frames won on the final colours, so the score could have been 4-0 or 2-2 if one player had won both, but 3-1 it is. Maguire played a solid frame to remain in front.

Trump playing well but has to remain focused.
He seems at times to be too interested in the
    other match.
Fu takes a key frame and its a tight match.

Another frame that could have gone either way. I had a feeling it would go to Maguire, because he was getting away with so many misses, but Fu makes it 2-1 with good pots on blue and pink. Big frame coming up.

Good start from Maguire. I wonder if Fu will regret giving the first frame up like that, he had an easy plant with a red over the pocket, but he finished in one of the few places where the colour wasn't a sitter. 15 minutes later it's 2-0 and Maguire really has a chance to take control of the match.

Yes, the 6th frame was an interesting one. Decided on the colours in the end, with a couple of wasted chances from both players, but O'Sullivan actually had a great chance of a clearance earlier in the frame. He played the cannon to the last red and just pushed it to the black cushion, somewhat unlucky. I was surprised he played the cannon, because in the previous frame he potted a similar red along the side cushion even though it hit the cushion well before the pocket. So, with that in mind, I thought he would go for the pot again, rather than risk playing the cannon.
