Watching the Trump-Lawler match. Seems as if I've somehow managed to set my TV into slow-motion mode.

I like to watch Judd Trump play snooker. Not my favourite player but the man can play!

Btw still at work, so merely sneeking a peek
You'll be pleased as punch to know that Judd just got a century in the first frame

I don't know why you don't like him. He's a fantastic snooker player.

(LOL at the folks in the crowd wearing Xmas hats).

Some good safety by Rod so far. Let's see if Judd is going to go for long ones.

Too bad Cahill could not take advantage of a very poor and under pressure Mark Davis. If Cahill had played at 30% of what he played against Ding, he would have walked away with this match but I guess it was difficult for him to get over what happened last night.

Meanwhile come on Robbo, make it 5-5. Dott to win 6-5 after making 3 20+ breaks in the decider
Defeatist mentality, you are of course entitled to your opinion but never heard that about such a fighter as Dott.l

Great. I'm going to see the final on sunday and I only have one of my favourites left. It's all on you Judd! If I got to see a Judd/Ronnie final I would be the happiest man alive!

I was wondering why so many players seemed
to be questioning how the tables played. It seemed
odd that a major UK tournament had it happen.

Was thinking the same thing last night, surely there isn't gonna be anymore..? Ha

Finished watching the Bingham vs Walden last night.

What a nightmare for Walden. I don't think I've ever seen a professional snooker player play that badly on TV before. It was quite astonishing. Missing simple blacks off the spot. Making rudimentary positional errors. Not being able to string a simple break together.

To be fair to him the balls were not kind. Bad bounces off cushions, balls ending up awkward, hampered cueing, bad cannons etc... Everything that basically could go wrong did.
He only started to look half decent in the 6th frame and by then it was all too late. You could see how embarrassed he was. Constantly shaking his head wondering what on earth has gone wrong. Poor sod.

    What a gift for Bingham.

Had to turn in early last night so didn't see the conclusion of both matches. Great to see Dott has been able to come through and send Neil home. Cahill couldn't match his performance of the previous night unfortunately. I had a feeling this match would go this way after his high before. But very well done to him regardless.

Really looking forward to Murphy - Fu this afternoon, although I'm taping it as I'm at work today as usual.

Look what you've done now! That's both of them out tomorrow
