What a shot by Dott! I honestly don't remember anyone ever playing something like that before.

So, young James...show everyone last night wasn't a fluke. Game on!

I am very eager to see how James Cahill play against Mark Davis, but the television channel in Hong Kong has decided to show Robertson vs Dott. If Mark Davis play a rather loose defensive game, James can have plenty of chances to build break if he plays as accurate as in his long game yesterday. It seems that he is one of the players who has strong heart.
In terms of Walden's defeat, he run a worst luck today. Although he could not devote his good game is the first half of the match, he response instantly. The problem was he could not find a easy ball to build break. What a pity for him, that's all about luck in the last few good pots.

Walden sure didnt show up. He had been playing
quite well but it wasnt his day nor Higgins.
Hopefully Robertson plays well. Interesting to
see how Davis and Cahill play.

It's been the same for most of the last two seasons really... I still remember the crazy red he attempted to pot off the pink in one of his matches, he never would have tried that when he was at the top of the game. It looks like he can't handle the frustration of not playing well and just wants to make something happen, instead of showing a bit of patience and relying on his tactical game. Although to be fair, his safety is just as bad as the rest of his game at the moment.

Good win for McGill then, but he did start missing sitters towards the end, and that's not a good sign for when he faces tougher opposition.

O'Sullivan can now realistically reach the semi-finals of this tournament by beating Daniel Wells, Peter Lines, Ben Woollaston, Matthew Selt and Anthony McGill. Can't complain about that draw.

    Well done Mcgill.

I'm really curious to see how Cahill will perform tonight. If he performs as well as he did last night. he'll have at least a new fan.

    As I predicted. Higgins won.

A great win by McGill. He certainly made it hard on himself.

Just got home from work and very glad to see John's still in with a chance! Thought he would have been out for sure by now... C'mon John!
