Hmm when I was a young lad I started in my early teens with normal pool and billiards in the clubs and naturally progressed into snooker. Also on Dutch tv in the 80s snooker was already much televised, as we could receive bbc back then already. So I basically grew up watching good old Steve Davis in his prime, followed by the Hendry years. And The Netherlands has always received snooker as a sport rather quickly and warmly...very popular over here.

I decided to go with the MJW v Mags match tonight, wrong choice. Recorded this one but I'm not doing a Daffie I'll watch the conclusion real-time. From what I've seen so far, Ding must have been pretty poor?
