He looks very angry young Frazz does . Decent break in the 4th frame , just bad luck with a couple of kicks.

    Come on Frazz :snooker:

This is getting a little ridiculous, pretty much flawless stuff from Trump. Another century and he is close to the points without reply record.

Judd is potting them off the chandeliers at the moment. Just incredible wonderful stuff.

Great start from Trump then, Patrick will have to play out of his skin to compete with this.
I think Ronnie would struggle playing Trump with this form.

well at least we know it happens to everyone not just us then
I would suggest we focus on all the positives Kyren can take from the match guys. Having played in quite a few of the same events as Kyren years ago I can tell you there is not much wrong with how he cues the ball. Under that extreme pressure playing a top 5 player your arm will 100% not even feel like your own. So I wouldn't judge his action or try and explain why he missed balls until he becomes a little more accustimed to the TV cameras. I can tell you why he missed balls the same reason why alot of great players do at TV stage and that's lack of self belief and pressure. It will come in time the more you get there the more comfortable you become.

Getting back to Wilson. There was no reason for him to hit that shot that hard. Just normal speed and he'd have been on something. In fact. I felt he hit the ball too hard throughout most of the match.

Personally I think the new set up and the BO11 matches won't do any good to the UK. It doesn't feel as great and special as it used to...
    I completely agree...never cared for the many-table setup. Guess I'm old-school

also considering that Eirian Williams (IIRC) has admitted that he is "not the best" at remembering where balls were, etc; so then to go by his own recall instead of the handy technology ...

They even blink a little whenever a ball is moved exactly where it needs to be. It doesn't save on time that much, but it's very accurate and pretty much allows for flawless repositioning of all balls.

Funnily enough, there was a situation a couple of seasons ago when Eirian Williams failed to make use of this aid. A couple of colours had moved, and Eirian Williams was convinced one of them should go back onto its spot, even though the circle was somewhere completely different. In the end he didn't fully trust the technology and prefered to rely on his own memory instead. Needles to say the technology was right and he ended up making a real mess of things.
Yes I clearly remember this situation with Williams. It was very surprising to me, first that a ref would indeed go with his own memory instead of referring to the technology that was there specifically for such a situation. And secondly that he was 'allowed' to do so. As much as I'm for a high level of ref discretion, the technology for replacing the balls back in their former order has such clear benefits over human memory. Like in football nowadays the goal-line technology will inform the ref whether it was indeed a goal or wasn't and the ref will take that decision and rule accordingly, never himself questioning it instead. I would like to see such a system in snooker for replacing the balls. There must be a relatively foolproof way to achieve this...
