Neil has only won 2 of 9 matches against Peter.
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
    I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

My final picks are Ebdon and Williams to go through.

      • Murphy has been playing very well recently (147, win etc) considering back in 12 th Nov he tweeted:
"Please help. I've lost the middle of the white. Can you help me find it?"
        Up the TSF! :snooker:

        • So, when did Selt-McLeod finish?

When I went to bed it was 5-4 and no balls potted in the 10th frame, about 1.30 in the morning here.

can't find anything definite but I would guess:

              13:00 Robertson vs Ebdon
              13:00 ROS vs Woollaston

              19:00 Ding vs Cahill
              19:00 Williams vs Maguire
              Up the TSF! :snooker:

              • Despite all Lisowski mistakes he was capable of winning 4 frames, once again Murphy didn't perform well. Handle the pressure was decisive on this match.

What are you talking about. Breaks of 52, 62, 81, 93 and 99 in the match says you're talking rubbish.

last frame didn't take too long iirc.

I thought Murphy played really well up until 4-1 up, then he started to miss a few and the confidence seemed to sap a little, giving openings to Lisowksi...typical Murphy though as he tends to like stretching matches out until the very last frame But he does come out on top very often, winning that final frame decider.

I thought Lisowksi as usual was pretty cavalier about it and tends to rush himself when on a shot. If he takes his shots more seriously and more time on them he would do so much better. He certainly has the potential, but needs to apply himself more I feel. I do like watching him play, especially compared to his former room-mate Judd Trump. Jack also seems more balanced as a person, but at the same time he seems a bit too cavalier as I said before. Nice lad though and a pretty decent player.

A top player like Murphy shouldn't concede 4 frames against a player that commits so many mistakes. Maybe it's better to say that Murphy wasn't at his best.

Lisowksi has the talent but so far isn't capable of handle pressure.
Seems like Ryan Day, lot of talent but wasn't capable of handle pressure, but Lisowksi has only 23 years old and still has time to improve.

So Selt came out on top I see...good for him. Also glad to see Fu getting through to the next round. Sad to see Doherty out of the tournament. And Nigel Bond got trumped by The Ant, too bad after his incredible comeback against Hawkins.

Looking forward to seeing Ebdon obliterate Robertson this afternoon One can dream though right? (as we know he does have a great history playing against Neil)

Ben taking on Ron as well this afternoon...that one could be interesting. I'll be taping both matches as I'm at work today...

And later on I am really looking forward to the MJW - Maguire match...again (like Higgins - Stevens) a real blast from the past

Maybe that's true but it was only his long potting in the middle of the match that let him down. Shaun plays a very attacking game with the utter belief that he can pot a long ball and gain the required position on a colour. When he misses his opponent is in. It's as simple as that.
When it works it's devastating as Shaun now has the ability and focus to make a frame winning contribution in one visit. When he misses he more then likely hands the frame over to his opponent.
