Me, too. Sean really was cueing beautifully the last weeks and clearly the better player today IMHO.
Selby, Ding, Allen, Walden, Robertson, now Murphy, truely remarkable.

Ronnie is dragging all his opponents down below his own level. That is very very unlike him. Many uncharacteristic errors too, usually he is deadly when in amongst them.

To be fair, he has a ridiculously easy draw.

Very tedious and boring stuff so far with ROS and Selt, I'm switching over to the other match...see what's happening over there.

so as he let the match slip away. Another decider
where it could have gone either way.
I would expect both O'Sullivan and Maguire to

Indeed I don't see any other outcome really...ROS 4-0 up and Maguire in control 3-1 up.

Maguire has looked quite good again. Yes, he is not playing perfect snooker, but he is still very tough to beat whenever he is in this kind of mood. He is completely focused, not getting frustrated, not doing anything silly, and his game is strong enough to put him comfortably in front. If you think about it, someone like Robertson plays like that all the time, and it wins him matches, even when he is not at his best. If only Maguire had that attitude for all of the last ten years... :wink:

Yes Maguire as well as players like Williams have
lacked a positive attitude and it has negatively
impacted their game.
I see tomorrow's matches as an easy win for O'Sullivan
while Dott and Bingham should be a real close battle.
Maguire may well defeat Fu unless Fu can really up
his game. Trump looks like a winner to defeat Davis.
Exciting snooker.
