Not the first time we've seen two players struggling for form, don't really see what all the negative fuss was about.
Hendry's constant sniping is of course par for the course, he has only ever been interested in break building, like the Rooster, anythibng else bores him to tears. It was certainly a lot more interesting than watching the wonder bairn in his latter years missing pot after pot because he has no safety game to speak of. His comments made me think of the HMHB Lyric:
"Opinionated weather forecasters telling me it’s going to be a miserable day
Miserable to who? I quite like a bit of drizzle so stick to the facts"
Go on then Stephen, get your cue out again, and we can all look forward to watching missed black off the spot after missed black off the spot followed by bitter ex pros criticising you for them.
It is quite a difficult game, they're competing for what is arguably the second most prestigious title in the sport, there are millions of people watching their every move and, oh yeah, they're human. At least it was a fairly even match, far preferable for me than any 6 - 0, no matter how well the winner was playing.
Anyway, shame on me, I quite enjoyed it.
