Yes, watching it now on EuroSport but Colin Murray just forgot who he was working for! He just said "McGill versus Selby, first up here on TalkSport!"
Customised full size Riley table with black pockets and Strachen 6811 Tournament Cloth all housed in an air-conditioned 8m x 5m Grande Servern Plus log cabin from Dunster House supported with RSJ's.

The commentary is slighty annoying. It sounds like they are licking their lips all the time. I'm sure its not that but its a horrible continual sound.

Not that idiot........he is useless . No idea how he gets employed .

Assume its the same one who does the Darts coverage .......turn the sound off every time he talks !
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I always mention this JJ is always smacking his lips together, maybe he sucks on sweets constantly or something?

So, Allen-Williams is not going to be televised tomorrow afternoon, they are showing O'Sullivan-Davis instead. Unfortunately swearing is not allowed on this forum, so there are no words to express my feelings about that. And whatever you think about that choice, it's ridiculous that it even needs to be made. :frown:

Anyway, good result for Selby then, McGill will be kicking himself to be 3-1 down, especially with the way he lost the first frame.

My thoughts exactly. I think the analysis by the panel is a good addition to Eurosport though.

                  a nice change for Eurosport
now is this just for the GM or for future events?
it does look like they are at the venue which is very unusual for British Eurosport
                  Up the TSF! :snooker:

Is that Colin Murray' voice you can hear echoing? He needs to turn his mic off.

I'm still not happy about that daft EuroSport logo. Its too big, its too bright, its too white. Its totally ruining my plasma with screen burn. I hate EuroSport for that alone but I can't not watch the snooker. The logo is ridiculously unnecessary.

I'm pretty sure it's just for this event, because Eurosport is the host broadcaster. They've had enhanced coverage in the past when that was the case, like in the PTC Finals, or in the British Open a few years back.

                          Gould, Ebdon and Selby win.
Hopefully Trump and Robertson do as well.
Would like the Robertson match shown.

Great opening match, especially the three frames when McGill was coming back from 4-1 down. But Selby played a strong decider this time.

Ebdon beats Higgins then... I will mention it again, the last three times Ebdon beat Higgins in a major event he went on to win it, the 2006 UK Championship and the 2009 and 2012 China Opens. Those are also the last three major tournaments Ebdon has won. Could it happen again?

This is no great surprise. Expect to see a lot of Judd and Ronnie this tournament.

I don't know about "a lot", since this tournament is squeezed into so few sessions, and they will have to share at least one, but I know what you mean.
