Scrappy, scrappy finish .... Happy to see MJW advance to next round, as well as Matthew Stevens, Luca Brecel etc. so from this perspective good day for me fan-wise, but hope to see more quality in Wasley-Trump now

Quite entertaining stuff tonight, although again none of the players played really great. Trump was put under pressure a little, but he seemed very composed. Should be a good game against Williams tomorrow.
They will be showing Robertson-Wilson tomorrow, which is a little silly to be honest, I for one would prefer Walden-Bingham. It's the only match in the last16 where the two seeded players have come through. Not too surprisingly with these short matches.
Also on TV will be Selby-Brecel and Stevens-Fu, both pretty exciting prospects.

mark Williams looks in better shape physically. I read on his twitter feed that he's taking the gym seriously and you can see it. it will be interesting to see if this results in a Ronnie-like resurgence!Highest Match Break 39 (November 10th 2015)

Pretty disappointed about Ronnie getting knocked out....he seemed really off this tourney, something didn't seem right in his game. Every credit to Matthew though...it was really tight, Ronnie had a chance to clinch the frame and match but missed the key yellow to the green. Hope he can figure things out with his form for the Worlds!

I don't think his cool £260,000 win in poker back in 2004 helped though.
Was his last final of any event the 2005 World's?

He has won.
2000: Benson and Hedges Championship
2005: World Championship
2007: Malta Cup
2008: UK Championship, Malta Cup, Paul Hunter Classic
2009: Premier League winner, Paul Hunter Classic, World Series Grand Final
2011: PTC Players Tour Championship Finals
2014: Gdynia Open, Haikou World Open, Victoria Bulgarian Open, Kreativ Dental Ruhr Open
2015: Dafabet Masters
Not to mention being number 7 in the world and having completed a maximum 5 times now.
A lot better record then Stevens. That's for sure.
