on a given day still is the best. However , those given days are few now....
He has lost concentration! He lost it in the Germans i do not think he will win the Worlds this year, especially the long format aswell. If he cant be bothered with best of 7 and best of 9 a format which he said he loved as it was nice and quick then think about the format for the worlds. He doesnt practise much and all he cares about is his running now.

    • Another decider.

That was a horrendous kick Robbo got there. With brand new balls. So the idea that kicks are caused by the protective layer wearing off the ball that the manufactures put on the must be bunk.

      • I just got back from the Snooker, sadly I had to pick up my children otherwise I would have stayed longer. I have been going to Newport for years before now so I thought I would check the new venue out. Overall with a few tweaks it will be alright, what Ronnie needs to realise is that it's the first year in a long time it's been held in Cardiff. There will be some issues, especially on the opening few days! I noticed today they were holding people while play was going on. I loved Newport as a venue but the Motorpoint has the potential to be better. Just thought I would sign up and share that with everyone, I have tickets on Saturday but nothing beats a few hours live snooker in the afternoon, fantastic value.

I heard Willies outburst, I didn't hear the context just heard him drop the C bomb and then effing and Geoffing all over the place! What did he have to say for himself?

First I've heard about it. I'd love to know more.

          • And the Ebdon has clawed another one back to take it to yet another decider. Keep going Ebdon.

            • Robertson played a pretty poor decider, lucky to survive it really. He lost deciding frames in the early rounds of the previous four ranking tournaments, so I kind of expected him to lose there, but he is still in the tournament and one of the favourites, especially if he can play like he did in his first match.

Tonight's TV matches are alright, but not the two I wanted to see most, Higgins-Liang and Bingham-White. Hopefully you can keep an eye on them DeanH and let us know how they go.

I don't think it would have been much more than 3/1.

Very little players that you see complain as much as Robbo does.
The thing I question about Robertson is his propensity to cough when his opponents approaching the table,Graeme Dott does the same.

How long have you been watching snooker? If it's more than 6 months you should know better than to listen to what Ronnie says - he talks absolute rubbish most of the time!

Good point indeed...he does do that. (forgot to mention this in my overview of annoying Robbo traits )

Perhaps one photographer would take O'Sullivan by the neck and cart him out. That would be even more fun ....

Dott also has a tendency to flick his cue in the air for a bad shot like Robbo, I noticed today ...
maybe they have the same coach

                              • I'm looking forward to this all Welsh clash, just hope the audience can muster up a little more atmosphere, don't know about Ronnie's shopping mall, more like a morgue out there atm.
