  • I'm not surprised that Mags has beaten McManus. That was quick.

Back to the Fu vs Stevens match. I feel Stevens is getting all the luck at the moment. Misses balls going safe or ending up in snookers. Marco leaving balls on or going in off. There must be a bunch of Welsh pixies under the table doing a little dance.

          never seen this scenario though
          Thanks. I didn't know that.

          • I'm a fan of Marco but I'd like to see Stevens win this. He could do with some good wins.

            • Stevens currently looks the way Fu looked against Ronnie in the Champion of Champions

              • I can't see Stevens winning this.

                • Stevens had the option to go for a long red but choose to play safe right at the beginning of the frame. Marco pots the long red that Stevens refused and went on to compile a century.

A good win for Marco. He as by far the better player.

                  • I expect Bingham to defeat Walden as he has been
playing quite well and Walden hasnt been playing
                    like he can play.
                    Nice to see Fu win.
I would also expect Robertson to make this a short
                    match against his opponent.

                    • Do any of my fellow Canucks on this forum follow the Canadian snooker scene at all? Is there a snooker scene? It would be great to at least have somebody on the main tour to cheer for? I believe Alex Pagulayan tried to qualify for a tour spot a couple of years ago, but he's mostly a 9-ball player.

Are there any young and talented players who have a chance to make it in the next little while? I'm old enough to remember Thorburn et al, but the coverage in those days was pretty much non-existent. Now I'm living in Europe and can watch matches on Eurosport and on the internet. Do you guys watch pirated internet feeds of Eurosport or BBC or is it possible to watch snooker in Canada by legal means?

                      • Bingham 2-2 so Walden might be in form yet.
Robertson isnt sharp however Wilson is missing
some easy shots as well. Its 1-1.

This is the Welsh Open discussion thread mate,so you need to start a new one
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

                            • Haha Robbo. Misses three times in a row and the frame goes to Wilson. I remember Poomjaeng doing that a couple of years ago.
